Make love not war

We're now in the middle of the fourth year of the War on Iraq and still the question remains. Why? Why was Iraq invaded? Was it for the WMD that were obviously not there? Was it for the second largest oil reserves in the middle east? Was it to keep America safe?

Blowback puts the lie to the last option; despite the fact that men in suits may explain they are doing is for 'national security' as they bomb defenseless nations overseas does not actually mean America is safer. American operations overseas directly correlate to America casualties.

The investigation into 9/11 was focused on Iraq from the get-go; when they couldn't find any evidance, they said 'what the hell we'll go attack anyway'.

The Iraq war was an aggressive war, one done under the deception of national security. The perpetrator of that war, George Bush, should be hung for war crimes just as the Nuremburg leaders were.
